K Will releasing new album, will reunite with Seo In-guk and Ahn Jae-hyun

Acclaimed South Korean singer K Will is set to release his first new album in six years.

On Tuesday (May 28), K Will’s agency Starship Entertainment announced that the 42-year-old crooner is currently filming the music video for the album’s title track and plans to release said album sometime in June.

However, the news that got fans buzzing was the confirmation that South Korean actors Seo In-guk and Ahn Jae-hyun are appearing in this new music video. Seo and Ahn were previously the leads in the music video of K Will’s 2012 hit song Please Don’t which gained significant attention worldwide for its ending.

In April, Seo, Ahn and K Will reunited in a video on Seo’s YouTube channel where they talked about filming Please Don’t. In the video, K Will pondered: “Maybe, it would be a great idea to film a music video that continues from Please Don’t.”

Since his debut in 2007, K Will – whose real name is Kim Hyung-soo – has gained rave reviews for his ballads which have constantly topped music charts in South Korea. His last album was in 2018.

June will also see the release of new albums from multiple South Korean acts including Twice’s Nayeon on Jun 14 and NewJeans on Jun 21.
