TEHRAN – Iran’s Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) has issued 97 capital increase licenses worth 1.24 quadrillion rials (about $2.44 billion) in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-September 22), IRIB reported.
According to a report released by the SEO’s primary market supervision management department, the number of companies registered at the Stock Exchange Organization reached 887 companies in the first six months of the current year.
Also the number of non-public financial institutions reached 967 with the registration of 75 new institutions in the mentioned period.
