SEO collaborating with Industry Ministry to facilitate offering cars at IME

TEHRAN – Head of Iran’s Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) has stated his group is collaborating with the Industry, Mining, and Trade Ministry to facilitate the sale of Iranian-made cars at the nation’s merchandise alternate.

“We are attempting to proceed our constructive interplay and cooperation with the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade to make the mandatory preparations for introducing extra cars into Iran Merchandise Exchange (IME),” Majid Eshqi instructed IRNA on Saturday.

“Our aim isn’t solely to sale cars within the merchandise alternate, but additionally to activate the capacities of the capital market to finance the nation’s vehicle trade, and there are instruments within the capital market like bonds and certificates of deposit prepared to be used on this regard,” he added.

As IRNA reported, after the approval of the Stock Exchange Supreme Council relating to the sale of cars at IME, 350 Fidelity and 250 Dignity automobiles belonging to Bahman Motor Group have been supplied at the talked about alternate on August 17.

Following the talked about offering, final week, Eshqi introduced the offering of some Iran Khodro (IKCO) automobiles at the merchandise alternate, saying: “We have been dealing with obstacles for the offering of cars within the inventory alternate and now the issues have been resolved and we managed to provide some cars on this market and two merchandise of Iran Khodro will quickly enter the merchandise alternate board.”

Later, IME introduced in a press release that 500 HAIMA automobiles manufactured by IKCO could be supplied at IME on August 28 as the primary spherical of IKCO choices within the merchandise alternate.
