South Korean actresses Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo, both known for their captivating performances, are set to star together in an upcoming noir drama titled Project Y (working title). The exciting project was officially announced on April 29th, sending fans into a buzz.
Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo team up for daring heist in noir drama Project Y
According to the news outlet Soompi, Project Y dives into the world of crime and suspense, taking viewers to the heart of Seoul’s affluent Gangnam district. The story centers on two ambitious friends, played by Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo, who decide to embark on a daring heist. Their audacious plan? To steal a staggering 8 billion won (approximately $5.8 million) worth of gold bars and disappear without a trace.
The directorial reins for Project Y are in the hands of Lee Hwan, whose previous works include Park Hwa Young and Young Adult Matters. Production is expected to begin later this year, in the second half of 2024.
Meanwhile, Han So Hee was last seen in Gyeongseong Creature on Netflix with Park Seo Joon, which has been renewed for a season 2. On the other hand, Jeon Jong Seo was most recently seen as the lead in Wedding Impossible starring Moon Sang Min and Kim Do Hwan.
