The South Korean superstar, Park Seo Joon is loved all over the world due to his portrayal of the lead character in K-dramas such as What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, Itaewon Class, and Fight For My Way. Seo Joon has also stepped into Hollywood with the upcoming MCU movie, The Marvels, which is expected to release in November 2023.
Lately, the handsome hunk has been seen doing interviews and appearing for fan meetings for his upcoming Korean film, Concrete Utopia. The film is about an earthquake and its aftermath. Along with Park Seo Joon, Park Bo Young, Park Ji Hoo, and Lee Byung Hun are all set to share the screen in the film.

Park Seo Joon got caught in controversy during an event
At one meet and greet event, Park Seo Joon’s indifferent behaviour grabbed all the eyeballs. What happened was that during the stage greeting for his upcoming film, one of his fans approached the lead couple, Park Seo Joon and Park Bo Young in Concrete Utopia.
The fan handed the lead actress a pair of headbands. As per reports, the fan exclusively made the couple headbands for Seo Joon and Bo Young. While Park Bo Young accepted the gift with much love and was quick to adorn the headband. On the other hand, Park Seo Joon refused to wear it. The reports claim that the 34-year-old actor made some hand gestures suggesting that he has sprayed down his hair and won’t be able to wear the headband due to it. After which, Bo Young nodded her head and held the other band in her hand.
How did Park Seo Joon’s fans react to his behaviour?
The gesture of not accepting the gift did not go well with the netizens, and they were quick to criticise the actor, Park Seo Joon. Many people found his attitude quite odd as he always accepts gifts from his fans which he even did during his promotional events for his now-released film, Dream. As per reports, some people claim that it is very rude to be greeted like that as people gathered there to watch his film solely. Netizens expressed their displeasure by saying that the basic fan service was missing.

Previous controversies related to Park Seo Joon
This was not the first time that the actor, Park Seo Joon got caught in the whirlwind of controversy. In June 2023, the actor sparked rumours of him dating YouTuber, Hong Soo Yeon, aka Xooos. The actor was then criticised by netizens for choosing the middle ground of neither accepting nor denying these rumours. Later, he said in an interview that he feels greatly burdened to open up about his personal life.
Additionally, Park Seo Joon again displeased his fans in July 2023, during another event where he did not participate in doing a pose asked by the reporters. The reporters present at the event asked him to do a heart pose, which he refused to do and left the photo op after doing a few poses. This gesture of the actor disappointed his fans.
