Shop The Chicago Makers Pop Up Group’s Outdoor Market At Hexe Coffee This Weekend

BUCKTOWN — The Chicago Makers Pop Up Shop could have its first out of doors market this weekend on the patio of Hexe Coffee Co.

Neighbors can come by Hexe to buy items, art work, skincare, candles and different gadgets 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at 2000 W. Diversey Ave. Everything on the market was made by a Chicago-based artist or maker.

Anna Romo and Monica Little, Chicago Makers Pop Up co-founders, are working with Hexe proprietor Parker Slater on getting ready the out of doors market, Romo stated in an electronic mail.

The Chicago Makers Pop Up Shop’s storefront is at 2064 N. Damen Ave. in Bucktown. Romo and Little launched the pop-up in Wicker Park throughout final 12 months’s vacation season.

In addition to this weekend’s out of doors market, Romo and Little are planning the Chicago Makers Academy, a digital small enterprise teaching program they hope to launch in June.

With one-on-one Zoom teaching calls, recommendation on social media optimization and extra, this system will “de-mystify the ins-and-outs of constructing a profitable small enterprise,” Romo stated.

Lastly, the makers are planning a vacation market Oct. 1-Dec. 23 inside the West Town Chamber of Commerce’s Pop-Up storefront, 1821 W. Chicago Ave.

More data will probably be launched on the teaching program and the vacation pop-up.

Hours of operation for the Bucktown retailer are noon-7 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sundays.
